Laura graduated cum laude from the Syracuse University College of Law in New York with a Juris Doctorate in 2003. She joined the Rochester, New York firm of Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP, in the firm’s litigation department, where she concentrated on civil, commercial and environmental law and also acted in family law and domestic violence cases on a pro bono basis. Laura moved to the Cayman Islands in 2005 and took up a position within the litigation department of Ogier (formerly Ogier & Boxalls), before joining Bodden & Bodden Litigation in 2007 (now Chapmans).

Laura was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of England & Wales in 2007 and admitted to practice as an attorney in the Cayman Islands in 2008. She enjoys an interesting and varied civil litigation practice representing international and domestic corporate and individual high net worth clients in both local and cross-jurisdictional disputes and litigation, including alternative dispute resolution. Her areas of practice include trust law, company law, corporate and shareholder disputes and family law.
